Ana Pradas
If we talk about innovation, it's very plausible you're picturing in your mind something dramatically new and groundbreaking. But innovation comes in different forms and shapes. It can be radical, but it can also be something explorative or slowly incremental.
How can you embrace it in your day-to-day practice? How can you foster innovation as a company when you also have to consider all your ongoing projects and operations? In this session, Ana will talk about her personal experience working on different innovative projects, and share tips and techniques for different approaches.
Ana is a Senior Product Designer at the Guardian, where she is currently working on the newest digital product at the newspaper, Feast, the Guardian’s new recipes app.
She has over 8 years of experience in editorial environments, ranging from the print redesigns of The Sunday Times and L’Express while working at Mark Porter Associates to leading the product design work of the CMS tools for the newsroom at the Guardian.
In addition, Ana runs advanced Figma workshops for design teams across different organisations, like GOV.UK
Outside of work, you can find Ana walking and cycling around the English countryside, spending the day at the Tate, or trying her best (and mostly failing) at amateur coastal rowing.
