(This talk was given in Spanish) in this session we explore an introduction to design systems: what they are, when it's necessary to implement them, and what their main objective is.

In addition, we will discover how a design system is constructed, structured, and implemented using a top tool like Figma.

We will learn how they are used, organized, and how they evolve over time by creating new components.We will also take a look at the top design systems that are being developed and how they are structured.

Luz Riquelme is a graphic designer by profession with a focus on communication and culture. She holds a diploma in Crossmedia and is certified by Google in UX Design. With over 12 years of experience in the digital world, she has always been dedicated to creating experiences and solutions of the highest quality.

Currently, she works as a Product Designer at Evernote, where she handles projects such as the Evernote Home, among others. Additionally, she is passionate about sharing knowledge, which has led her to participate in various initiatives, including being a mentor at +Mujeres UX Chile and Latin America, as well as being an active member of the Friends of Figma community in Chile, dedicated to sharing user experience knowledge.
