21.09.23 (17:30H CET) | LINKEDIN LIVE

When it comes to sustainability, what impact does design have? In this talk, Serena will share her career evolution that led to systemic business design and will highlight the pivotal role different design disciplines play in ideating, testing, and advancing circular practices.

She will touch on some successes and challenges of working in this space. Serena grew up balancing a strong empathic and creative spirit with a rational and functional mind, and has always been curious about “how things are made”. She advocates for and actively implements designing the circular economy to ensure abundance and opportunities for customers and businesses while contributing toward more sustainable futures.

Serena is a Circular Business & Systemic Design Senior Manager at Zalando, focusing strategy and implementation of circular economy through systemic and strategic design. Previously, she was a Circular Business Design & Innovation Manager at VF Corporation, where successfully designed, piloted and commercialised circular initiatives and products for the EMEA portfolio of brands.
